Good news . Puma is planning to pay tribute to A Tribe Called Quest , using the african zebra colorway that was painted on the woman featured on their album covers *. If you're into Hip Hop , it will surely have some effect on you as the group is definitely missing on the rap scene nowadays . In the mean time it bothers me that Puma is trying to bite the Hip Hop cake again , letting people think they were part of the movement , when they never rallied stage 2 .
Indeed in 1988 , everybody and their moms were trying to cop some nikes or jordans . And this was more flagrant the years after with the rise of the New School .
Whatever check the cover from "Midnight Marauders" and try to find who is who . Beastie boys , Busta , Grand master Flash ... yeah those ones were easy but what about the others ? haha
