In America , sportsmen are commonly included in country's short history . And among them , besides Jesse Owens or Muhammad Ali , there is the great Jackie Robinson who was the first afro-american player in the modern era of the Major League Of Baseball in 1947 . His Major League debut with the Brooklyn Dodgers ended approximately eighty years of baseball segregation , also known as the baseball color line . It didn't take him much time to show the whole country what he was capable of , earning awards and thus respect .

Of course his story could just appear as a basic sports story , but the path of this amazing player , became the path of one of the most recognized afro-american activist .
