Agnes B. shows one more time her interest in the urban cultures , setting up this incredible meeting between two of the most subversive current artists ... Shepard Fairey , the man behind Obey Giant and WK Interact . The duo has thus collaborated on the The East/West Propaganda Project , an exposition first launched in Japan , and that will soon come to Paris . Check Supertouch Blog for more info and pics .
"After running wild in the streets for several days launching a full-scale bombing campaign on the walls of the city, the pair got down to business , creating an epic collaborative installation at TWS in Shibuya , as well as a smaller exhibit at the Agnes B shop where the pair were on hand to meet and greet their fans and sign just about anything the crowd put in front of them . The show remains on display in Tokyo through April 22nd , after which it will travel to the Galerie Du Jour Agnes B in Paris for an opening on May 16th . "

Good news . Puma is planning to pay tribute to A Tribe Called Quest , using the african zebra colorway that was painted on the woman featured on their album covers *. If you're into Hip Hop , it will surely have some effect on you as the group is definitely missing on the rap scene nowadays . In the mean time it bothers me that Puma is trying to bite the Hip Hop cake again , letting people think they were part of the movement , when they never rallied stage 2 .
Indeed in 1988 , everybody and their moms were trying to cop some nikes or jordans . And this was more flagrant the years after with the rise of the New School .

D'Angelo has since collaborated on projects with selected artists and friends , but the real aficionados are praying god for a third opus from the maestro . My mate Dren took inspiration from the legendary Charlotte Hornets when he took time to make his AF1 ID at the Force Club last month . If you remember the Hornets were the best team in terms of merchandising during most of the 90's , seducing the youngests with the freshest team color scheme in the NBA . Teal and purple ... the combo was so hot , some NBA teams tried to copy the style with less success .
Between 1988 and 2002 , "The Hive" , the Charlotte Coliseum was the hottest arena in the league , selling out all seats until last seasons . Larry Johnson , Mugsy Bogues , Alonzo Mourning , Eddie Jones , Baron Davis or Bobby Phills among others , played with pride in North Carolina , a state known for its passion for basketball . But more than that they succeed to put the city on the map , leaving the shadow of Chapell Hill , home of the University Of North Carolina , Michael Jordan's college .
A dark cloud surrounded the Hornets in 2001 as the city of Charlotte refused to give funding to a new arena unless scandalous owner George Shinn sold the team . Indeed Shinn , the pariah , had never allowed the team to reach its goals , refusing each time to pay new contracts to his all-star players , forcing trades to keep the money . This added to legal problems was too much for the North Carolina fans ...
In 2002 Shinn left town with the team , heading to N'awlins . This move was one of the signs that marked the end of the golden years the league lived .
*Originally to be named the Charlotte Spirit , the team was renamed the Charlotte Hornets after the objection of the local fans . Kwame arrives just in time with a new album on the french Rap scene , when things were turning to fat booties videos competition .
This 30 years old rookie has gained popularity these last weeks in the Sneakers.fr community , sharing his secret passion for hip hop . This lyricist and producer has spent two years in the United States learning the game from underground dogs , and after several years of work he has succeeded to define his own style .
Known as Feross , KWAME is now, his brand new artist name , to pay homage to kwame n'krumah, a panafricanist hero and a great scientist . Until now he has lived from his passion through different jobs : journalist in RADIKAL ( french hiphop magazine ) , promoter & artist booker ( J live, Cannibal Ox... ) , or seller in SOUND RECORDS (the dopest vinyl shop in Paris).
Now focused on his music, he's helped by the dopest producers in the US underground scene such as Oddisee (HAlftooth Records) , Roddy rod (MAspyke), D from Helium Music and Kenwood (A Touch Of Jazz ). Motivated to rise the level of the french hiphop scene , Kwame decided to work with the best by traveling back and fourth between paris and nyc .
The result is pretty cool , full of flavours , something between DJ Premier and J.Dilla ... Album coming in April ! He's also working on a mixtape "DETROIT (D3) CONCEPT" with his partners Vestat and Gea , in order to put the Detroit Sound at the forefront in France . Listen y'all !

The Lake Show is back ... after 7 consecutive losses during the previous weeks , Kobe has decided to lift the whole team on his shoulders , taking the best of his teamates to win 3 consecutive games , scoring 65 , 50 and 60 points tonight .
Next games will be played against New Orleans , Golden State , Memphis again and Houston . As for the end of the season , Phoenix & Denver will be the only real contenders on their path . All that seems full of promises for the players of La-la Land and for their fans .
We probably can think Kobe will be more than considered for the title of Most Valuale Player , and I personally hope that Nash won't be named for his third title . I honestly admire his game , but damn with no championships rings and not a single finals game played in his career , he doesn't deserve that honor . I admit I can't forget the 2 or 3 MVP titles that were stolen from Michael Jordan , for the glorification of the great NBA by David Stern , and that MJ never won 3 straight MVP titles . At least give it to Nowitzness .
Kobe with four 60 points-games in his career has reached that jordanesque superstar level , leaving only Wilt Chamberlain ahead of him . This performance remains totally freakin' extraordinary ...
